INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - - Sophomore Jamie Bouyer (Bedford Heights, Ohio/Chanel)tagged 11 kills while freshman Emily Clark (Bolivar, Ohio/Tuscarawas Valley) added 10 but Cleveland State fell to Butler 31-29, 30-16, 30-20 at Hinkle Fieldhouse Saturday afternoon in Horizon League action.
Clark, a 5-8 outside hitter, also hit .333 for the match and added 10 digs.
The Bulldogs' Keely Norris took game-honors, putting down 13 kills and hitting .524.
Buoyed by Norris's efforts, Butler hit a solid .333 for the match (45K-11E-102TA). In comparison, the Vikings hit .228 (47K-19E-123TA).
CSU, 13-8 overall and 2-5 Horizon League, returns home Friday to face in-state and league rival Youngstown State at 7 p.m. at Woodling Gymnasium.
