A dynamic and versatile player, Emily Clark is one of the team leaders and will open the season as a starter at outside hitter. She has great ball control and the ability to make things happen at crucial times.

Career

Ranks eighth in CSU history with 1,014 digs and needs just 125 to assume the career lead.

2004 - Junior Season

Led the team in digs (343) and aces (34), ranking seventh (3.40) and ninth (0.35), respectively in the Horizon League...had 18 matches with double-digit digs...fell four digs shy of the school match record with 33 in five-game win over Eastern Michigan...had four double-doubles on the season...nearly posted a triple-double in Horizon League championship match against Loyola (11/21), finishing with 13 kills, 18 digs and a career-high nine assists...tallied 10 kills and 21 digs in league semifinal win over UW-Milwaukee (11/20)...notched 12 kills, 18 digs and four assists versus Butler (10/1)...recorded 25 digs in win at UIC (9/25)...played in 27 matches, starting 15 times.

2003 - Sophomore Season

Led the team with 399 digs, the fourth-highest total in school history...tallied 12 kills and a season-high 23 digs in win over Wright State (11/7)...posted a career-high 15 kills against UW-Milwaukee (10/25)...recorded 11 kills, 13 digs and seven blocks versus Bowling Green (10/14)...ripped a career-best five aces in win over East Tennessee State (9/6)...notched eight double-doubles, including three in a row to close out the regular season...had 20 matches with 10 or more digs...recorded double-digit kills on 10 occasions, including eight times in league play...played in all 34 matches, starting 24 times at outside hitter.

2002 - Freshman Season

Started 19 of the 28 matches in which she played...ranked second on the team in digs per game (2.72) and fifth in hitting percentage (.179)...had 10 kills and 10 digs against Butler (11/15)...posted a career-best 18 digs at Youngstown State (9/27)... recorded 10 or more digs 15 times.

High School

Led the team to the Ohio Division III state championship match in 2001...recorded a team-high 17 kills to go along with 13 digs in the title game...notched 19 kills, 21 digs and four aces in the semifinals...squad finished 26-3 overall and undefeated in conference play for the fourth straight year...first-team all-Ohio and all-District V in 2000 and 2001...first-team all-conference from 1999-01...team captain as a senior...squad's MVP as a junior and senior...holds the school career records for kills and kill percentage (58%) and the season records for kills (283) and digs (226)...played for Club Crush from 1998-01...also earned three letters in track where she was MVP in 2000 and earned the coach's award in 2002...first-team all-conference in 2001...earned a pair of letters in basketball and was named best defensive player as a freshman and sophomore... also earned one letter in softball.
