FAIRBORN, Ohio - The Cleveland State volleyball team dropped a 27-30, 22-30, 30-27, 23-30 decision to Wright State in C.J. McLin Gymnasium Saturday afternoon. The loss drops the Vikings to 12-10 overall and 1-5 in the Horizon League, including a 0-4 mark on the road in the conference. The Raiders improve to 12-7, 3-2.

"Wright State is a very good team and we didn't play well even starting in warm-ups," CSU head coach Chuck Voss said. "We did show some signs of life in the third game, but couldn't sustain it."

Junior middle hitter Jamie Bouyer (Bedford Heights, Ohio/Chanel) paced CSU with 19 kills, a .429 hitting percentage and five blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Alisa Hatcher (Bellefontaine, Ohio/Bellefontaine) added 11 kills and nine blocks, while sophomore outside hitter Emily Clark (Bolivar, Ohio/Tuscarawas Valley) led all players with 15 digs.

WSU's Tricia Naseman posted a match-high 24 kills, while McKenzie Tiffin tallied 18 kills and 14 digs.

The Raiders hit .232 while limiting the Vikings to just a .197 percentage in addition to owning a 67-56 advantage in digs.

Cleveland State is in action again on Tuesday, Oct. 14 when the Vikings host Bowling Green at 7:00 p.m.
