2013-14 SOPHOMORE SEASON

5th at EWL...3rd at Cleveland State Open...2nd at Lake Erie Open...Defeated Division II NCAA Champion Garrett Lineberger of Notre Dame College. 

2012-13- FRESHMAN SEASON

Went 10-13 at 175 pounds... had one pin, one tech fall, two major decisions, and six decisions... tallied a tech fall defeating John Carroll’s Danny McNamara 16-1... had a decision win over Michael Curby of Eastern Michigan... posted a decision win at the Southern Scuffle... picked up a 15-6 major decision victory, with the other three wins being by decsion at the Patriot Classic.

2011-12- REDSHIRT SEASON

Won 18 matches on the open circuit…earned first career victory on a tech fall at the Eastern Michigan Open (Nov. 5)…went 3-2 at the Michigan State Open (Nov. 12) with his first career pin…finished 2-2 at the Cleveland State Open (Dec. 18)…was 4-3 at the Ashland Storm Open (Jan. 7), including a pair of pins and a tech fall…went 3-2 at the Mount Union Purple Raider Open (Jan. 15)…finished 4-3 at the Edinboro Open (Feb. 11)…recorded a win over his opponent from Old Dominion at the National Collegiate Open (Feb. 26). 

HIGH SCHOOL

Two time state placer at Patrick Henry High School…runner-up at 160 pounds at the 2011 Ohio High School Athletic Association state meet…placed fourth as a junior in 2010…was one of two wrestlers from his team to qualify for the state meet in 2010 and the lone representative in 2011…qualified for Division III state tournament all four seasons…won the Northwest Ohio Athletic League title all four years…also won three sectional championships…finished fifth at 171 pounds at the 2009 Fargo Junior/Cadet National Championships…earned special mention in the Wrestling USA Magazine national rankings… was a two-time All-Ohio football player as a defensive lineman and the district `Defensive Player of the Year’.

Born March 28, 1993 in McClure, Ohio….son of Jason and Lola Schulze…has one brother, Jayden, and a sister, Tayah…intends to major in criminology.
