INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Cleveland State men's tennis dropped its Sunday match against Butler on Sunday, falling 4-3. The loss drops the Vikings to 12-5 overall and 1-1 in the Horizon League.

The Vikings were unable to claim the doubles point after only winning at No. 3 doubles. Senior Brad Groleski and freshman Chris Klepatz defeated Ben Reynauld and Bryce Warren 8-2.

Sophomore Phil Orno stretched his win streak to 13 consecutive singles match victories. Orno defeated Eric Breitenbach 7-6 (5), 3-6, 15-13 at No. 1 singles. Groleski won 6-2, 6-2 over Chris Herron at No. 3 singles, while Robert Fox defeated Sam Brown, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6 singles. Fox has now won 10 consecutive singles matches.

"We got down early on one court and really needed that win at doubles to earn the doubles point," head coach Brian Etzkin said. "Phil was able to keep his streak alive, but we need one or two guys to step up for us."

The Vikings host UW-Green Bay on Saturday, April 12 at 12:00 p.m.
