2008-09 - JUNIOR SEASON

Garnered a spot on the All-Horizon League first team after going 19-9 in singles and 24-5 in doubles... won 18 of his final 22 matches after starting 0-2 in the spring... won his first 12 doubles matches of the spring and went 8-0 in league doubles play... was also perfect (7-0) in league singles matches... appeared in the pre-qualifying singles draw at the prestigious ITA All-American Championships in the fall.

2007-08 - SOPHOMORE SEASON

Named to All-Horizon League first team...received Horizon League Tennis Athlete of the Week honors on January 31 after wins at No. 1 singles and doubles against Xavier...posted a 17-14 singles record, playing predominately at the No. 2 spot... recorded the best tournament record on the team at 8-4...combined with Phil Orno for a 19-7 doubles record, including 14-4 at No. 1 doubles and seven straight wins from 1/26 to 3/29... finished the season with a four-match winning streak.

2006-07 - FRESHMAN SEASON

Named to All-Horizon League second team...received Horizon League Tennis Athlete of the Week honors on January 25...led the team in singles wins, finishing 28-11...registered a 28-9 doubles record, including 26-8 with Phil Orno...combined with Phil Orno for 11-straight doubles wins from 9/20 to 10/14...won first collegiate match at St. Bonaventure Fall Classic (9/8).

HIGH SCHOOL

Two-time conference player of the year at Lakota East under head coach Greg Mahlerwein...played four years at No. 1 singles, compiling a 61-18 record...played goalie on high school hockey team and set the state record for saves in a game with 60.

Born May 15, 1987 in Cincinnati, Ohio...son of Gayle Sarant and Rich Hamning...has two brothers and one sister...grandfather, Peter Sarant, competed in Olympic Track & Field...criminology and sport management major.
