MISHAWAWKA, Ind. - The Cleveland State men's tennis team won its 19th straight match against a Horizon League opponent with a 7-0 triumph over Valparaiso on Saturday afternoon at the South Bend Tennis Club.

The win improved CSU to 12-6 overall and 3-0 in league play, while the Crusaders fell to 3-11 overall and 1-3 in league action.

CSU won all three doubles matches to take the doubles point, including an 8-3 win at the No. 1 slot by seniors Phil Orno and Ryan Hamning, who missed last weekend's three matches with a foot injury.

Rob Fox and John Haley combined for a 9-8 (7-5) win at No. 2 doubles, while Yannick Goossens and Aris Sportos won, 8-6, at No. 3 doubles.

CSU went on to win all six singles matches in straight sets, including a dominating 6-0, 6-1 win by Fox at No. 4.

The Vikings will be back in action on Sunday (April 4) when CSU heads to UIC for a 2:00 p.m. match.
