PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Cleveland State won the doubles point and the first four singles matches to defeat Duquesne, 5-2, on Friday night. With the win, the Vikings improve to 14-6.

Junior Brad Groleski and freshman Ryan Hamning won in straight sets at Nos. 1 and 3 singles and freshman Phil Orno and senior Dan Singer won three-set contests to clinch the win early.

The match had already been decided when the Dukes managed to pick up two wins at the bottom of the lineup.

"We have felt like we haven't been playing our best tennis lately," head coach Brian Etzkin said. "But we played well and got a great win. I'm proud of the way we played."

The Vikings return to action on April 7 versus Wright State at the Malaga Tennis Center at 10:00 a.m.
