CLEVELAND, Ohio - The CSU men's tennis team will hit the road Tuesday to take on Ohio State, the third ranked team in the nation.

The match, originally scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 22, will begin at 2:00 p.m. in Columbus. Weather permitting, the matches will be played outdoors at OSU's Stickney Tennis Center.

Cleveland State struggled the last time these two teams met in the first round of the NCAA tournament last year. The Buckeyes swept the Vikings 4-0 in CSU's first tournament appearance in school history.

So far this spring, the Vikings have amassed a 9-3 record lead by sound doubles play from juniors Phil Orno and Ryan Hamning. The pair has posted an 11-0 record at first doubles to date. Orno and sophomore Robert Fox have also seen consistent success at No. 1 and No. 5 singles, respectively, this year.

"As a team we are extremely excited to play one of the best teams in the nation and hopefully improve upon our results from last spring," said Cleveland State head coach Brian Etzkin.
