Sikatzki & Wolst Honored by CSCAA for Academic Success

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State swimmers Phillip Sikatzki and Tommi Wolst have been honored as Scholar All-Americans from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

Sikatzki was a Scholar All-American, while Wolst was an honorable mention selection.

Sikatzki earned the honor after swimming in three events at the NCAA Championship. He finished fourth in the 100 fly with a school-record time of 45.37 to earn All-America honors.

To receive CSCAA Scholar All-America recognition, student-athletes must have achieved a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher and participated in their respective NCAA Championships.

Those receiving CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention have also received a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher and achieved either an NCAA 'B' time standard or an NCAA Zone Diving qualifying score.

Last week, the CSCAA recognized the CSU men's and women's teams as a Scholar All-America Teams.
