KETTERING, Ohio - Seeking his fifth consecutive top 15 finish, Cleveland State senior Ben Grandy is tied for eighth after two rounds of the Dayton Spring Invitational. The Vikings, who are just nine shots out of fourth place, stand eighth out of 12 teams at the par 71, 7,067 yard NCR South Course.

UW-Green Bay posted a 36-hole total of 618 to lead Wright State and Malone by 10 strokes. The Phoenix was led by Eric Mabee (149) and Aaron Pearson (152), who are currently in first and third place, respectively. Canisius' Drew Creighton is in second place at 151.

"It was a little windy today, but I thought we'd play better," CSU head coach Brian Varsey said. "We struggled a little with the rough around the greens. I think it also hurt that Kyle [Cobb] injured himself early in the first round and was unable to compete."

The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Tuesday beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
