WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Cleveland State carded rounds of 304 and 300 and is tied for 15th place out of 18 teams following the first two rounds of the Boilermaker Invitational on Saturday at the par-72, 7,162-yard Kampen Course at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex.

"This is the deepest, most talented field that we will see all year, but its a good final tuneup for us for the league championship," head coach Steve Weir said. "We didn't play poorly today, but we didn't make any putts. Tomorrow is an important day for us because its our final round before the league tournament. So we have to go out and play well."

Senior Jake Scott is tied for 26th overall after rounds of 74-73 (147).

Penn State leads the tournament with a two-round total of 569 (288-281). Illinois is two shots behind the Nittany Lions (571) after shooting 287-284.

Penn State's Kevin Foley leads the individual race after carding rounds of 69-66 (135).

The event will conclude on Sunday (April 19) with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m.
