Vikings Card Final Round 290 to Finish 10th at adidas Indiana Inviational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Kyle Cobb and Michael Klaric both shot final round 71's to help Cleveland State card a final round 290 and finish 10th of 19 teams at the adidas Indiana Inviational on Sunday morning.

The 54 hole event concluded today at the par-71, 6,813-yard IU Championship Golf Course.

"We played much better today, maybe one of the better rounds we have put together this spring," head coach Steve Weir said. "We still have some work to do, but hopefully we will be able to build on this going into our final tournament at Detroit leading up to the Horizon League Championship.

Klaric's final round 71 allowed the freshman to post his first career top-15 finish as he tied for 11th at 218 (73-74-71).

Senior Kyle Cobb also had a top-20 finish, tying for 18th place two shots behind Klaric at 220 (75-74-71).

Kellen Erdman shot a season-low 73 today, while James Boxley was CSU's final scorer today with a 75.

The Vikings will next compete at the Detroit Titan Invitational on April 16-17, CSU's final event before the Horizon League Championship in Lexington, Ky., on April 26-27.
