ABOUT THE VIKINGS

•    Cleveland State will compete in the NCAA Regionals from May 16-18 at the UNM Championship Course in Albuquerque, N.M.
•    The UNM Championship golf course is a par-72, 7,562-yard track.
•    The Vikings are the 13th seed in the region that includes top-seeded USC, second-seeded Arizona State and third-seeded South Florida. San Diego State, Texas A&M, NC State, New Mexico, Texas Tech, TCU, Iowa, Liberty, Army, CSU and Wagner round out the field.
•    This is CSU's third straight appearance at the NCAA Regionals and the seventh in the last 11 years. CSU also played in the NCAA regionals in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2014 and 2015.
•    CSU earned the automatic bid from the Horizon League after winning the League Championship in Florida (April 22-24).
•    It was the third straight League title for the Vikings and the seventh in the last 11 years.
•    The Vikings posted six top-two finishes this year, including two wins. CSU has finished in the top-two of its last five events.
•    CSU's team scoring average of 293.5 is the lowest in school history. The 2007-08 team has the current record of 296.8.
•    CSU won the Villanova Wildcat Invitational (March 28-29), the first in-season title for the Vikings since CSU won the John Piper Intercollegiate from Sept. 17-18, 2012, in Bowling Green.
•    This year's team is one of the most balanced groups in program history as all five golfers have been CSU's top finisher in at least one event this year.
•    Joey Krecic was the only player to be named to one of the two All-Horizon League teams, earning a spot on the first team.
•    Head coach Steve Weir was named the Horizon League Coach of the Year for the fourth time in his career (2008, 2009 and 2011).

Named to the All-Horizon League first team... led team and ranked second in Horizon League with 73.1 scoring average, fourth lowest single season average in school history... tops on team with 13 rounds of par or better (out of his 30 rounds)... had five top-five finishes in 11 events... won the season opening Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate (Sept. 6-7) and Wright State Invitational (April 4-5), becoming first CSU golfer to win multiple events in a season since Andrew Bailey in 2013-14... was the runner-up at the Horizon League Championship (April 22-24), earning spot on all-tournament teamm and finished third at the Davidson Invitational (Feb. 29-March 1)... has a 74.3 scoring average through first two seasons, the third lowest in program history... was 68th at NCAA regionals last year with rounds of 74-77-77.

Ranked third on team with a 74.5 scoring average this year... tied for second on team with eight rounds of par or better... posted lone top-five finish of the season by placing third at Horizon League Championship (April 22-24) to earn spot on all-tournament team... had three other top-10 finishes... was team's top finisher at Northern Kentucky Classic (Sept. 28-29), tying for eighth place... will be playing in NCAA regionals for the third straight year... tied for 52nd at last years regional, carding a second round 69 to become first CSU golfer to break 70 at a regional... ranks ninth in school history with a 75.7 career scoring average.

Averaged 75.2 per round this year with five rounds of par or better... posted lone top-five finish of the year by tying for fifth place at Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational (April 22-24)... fired second round 68 at the event, his lowest round of the season... also tied for eighth at the Northern Kentucky Classic (Sept. 28-29), shooting a second round 69... will be making second straight appearance at NCAA regionals... was CSU's top finisher at regionals last year in Bremerton, Wash., tying for 39th place overall... carded rounds of 81-72-68 (221) last year... his final round 68 was the lowest round ever by a CSU golfer at regionals... had career scoring average of 75.5, seventh best in school history.

Averaged 75.5 this year, including eight rounds of par or better... had lone top-10 finish of the year when he finished sixth at Wright State Invitational (April 4-5), shooting a final round 69... carded final round 71 at Villanova Wildcat Invitational (March 28-29) to help CSU win title after starting final round in eighth place... will be playing in third straight NCAA regional... has career scoring average of 76.1... named to Horizon League All-Tournament team as a junior after placing fourth overall... shot career-best 65 to open Marshall Invitational as a junior, the second lowest round in school history.

Ranks second on team with 74.3 scoring average... has seven rounds of par or better, including season-low round of 68... has two top-five finishes and six top-20's... finished third at the Dayton Invitational (Oct. 19-20) with rounds of 75-72... tied for third place at Villanova Wildcat Invitational (March 28-29), shooting 72-74 to help CSU win team title... will be making his first career appearance at NCAA regionals... is sixth in CSU history with a 75.1 career scoring average.
