Miscellaneous Notes
-- The crowd of 4,923 raised the season attendance total to 57,532, the second-largest single season attendance total, trailing only the record 60,681 set in 1991-92, the year the building opened.
-- The starting lineup of Norris Cole, Trey Harmon, Jeremy Montgomery, Tim Kamczyc & Aaron Pogue started their 31st straight game together. CSU is one of three teams to use the same lineup in every game (Missouri State & St. Bonaventure).
-- The Vikings never trailed in the first half, using a 17-2 burst to take a 19-4 lead (12:32). Green Bay would close to within 23-15 (2:45) before trailing 28-17 at half.
-- Green Bay opened the second half with seven straight points to pull to 28-24 (17:53) before CSU pushed it back into double figures (34-24, 17:02) and led by as many as 15 (48-33, 10:32). Green Bay closed to within 2 (53-51, 4:05) but could come no closer down the stretch.
-- This was the 62nd meeting between CSU and Green Bay with the Phoenix now owning a 36-26 series lead, including a 13-16 record in games played in Cleveland.
-- The win improves the Vikings to 24-7 overall and 13-5 in league play, giving CSU at least a share of the regular season title for the first time in school history. The Vikings will be no worse than the No. 3 seed in the tourney next week.
-- The 24th win by CSU is the fourth-highest single season win total in school history.
-- The victory was the 15th at home for CSU this year, tying the school record for home wins in a season, which was set in both 1985-86 & 1987-88 when the Vikings played their games in Woodling Gym & Public Hall.
-- The Phoenix managed just .190 shooting in the opening half (4-21) but came back to shoot .500 (13-26) in the second stanza (17-47, .362 for the game).
-- Both teams shot well from the line, the Phoenix going 20-for-24 (.833) while CSU shot .882 (15-17), including 13-for-15 in the second half.
