"We came into this game with defensive goals. We wanted to hold them to under 40 percent and limit their big guys. They both ended up with 10 points, and we did a good job on them. Loyola did a good job of getting it inside and they're a physical team, but we did a good job."

"When we stop our opponent, I feel good. Even if we're going slow offensively, I feel okay because of our team defense."

"I hope we can get Aaron Pogue back healthy. No one in the league is seeing our total game. We've probably played our total game in the first 10 games and that is why we were 9-1. Right now, we're exclusively outside. We're missing the inside game, and Aaron keeps us going."

"Not a lot of people win at Butler. When we won there to go to the NCAA Tournament, no one on Earth thought we could win there. It's hard to do. But we've been playing well on the road."

"We are a better rebounding team than we were last year, and we'll get better with the addition of Marlin Mason because he can rebound the basketball."

"The game comes easy to Marlin Mason. It's an easy game for him. Every game that he goes into, he's just happy-go-lucky. Some people are gifted like that."

"You have to hit some threes to win at Butler. We've played them in the past and lost every time up there and the only time we beat them was in the Horizon League Tournament. In that tournament game, we hit threes and they had a hard time handling us. They play good defense - especially in transition - so you need to hit shots."

"I felt great. I had to catch my wind the first couple of minutes. I had a lot of time to rest and recover."

"I wanted to let the game come to me. While I was out, the team had a lot of chemistry. I didn't want to come back and mess that up. I just took open shots and my hard work in the gym paid off."

"We knew going in that playing Loyola is always one of the most physical games on the schedule. Their big guys are tough. We knew it would be a war so we had to take that mentality into the game."

"My individual stats aren't that important to me. My mindset has been on the team winning. I try to help our team win. Victory for me is the ultimate goal and that is all I'm looking for."

"Our coaching staff keeps us focused on the next game. We have good preparation for every game. Butler is a great environment to play in. The arena has historical value so it's always fun to play Butler and to play there."
