Varga (1978-82) went 25-2-2 in his first season and earned the only CSU victory in the 1977 NCAA Championships…as a junior, he went 30-5, leading the Vikes to a season-ending No. 17 national ranking…set two records by earning a 27-4 mark as a senior…winner of two “Most Outstanding Wrestler” awards
