CLEVELAND, Ohio - Following a strong showing at the Ohio University Invitational last weekend, the Cleveland State cross country team will set their sights on the All-Ohio Championship, which will take place Friday (Sept. 30) afternoon. The race is set for a 2:45 p.m. start time and will take place at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course on the Cedarville University campus.

Earlier this week, senior Allison Craine was named the Horizon League Runner of the Week after posting a fourth place individual finish at the OU Invitational. Craine's 6k time of 23:13 marked the third fastest since 2005, while her 5k split of 19:24 marked her second sub-20 minute 5k time of the season.

Three Vikings recorded season-best 5k splits last weekend at the OU Invite, led by Kendra Kezur who crossed the marker in 19:53. Kelly Zaleski and Tori Holt were the other Vikings to record season-best 5k times, as Zaleski passed the marker in 20:01 and Holt recorded a 20:30 split.

Friday's course will be familiar to the Vikings, as they competed in the Friendship Invitational earlier this season on the same course. All of CSU's runners recorded their best times of the season at the Friendship Invitational (Sept. 17), including Craine who finished in 19:02, marking the top Viking time so far this season.
