Douglas. last year's team captain, looks to lead the Vikings again in her second season with the cross country program. Douglas was an infielder on the softball team her freshman and sophomore years.

2005 -- Junior Year:

Placed first among Viking runners in six of the team's eight events...named Horizon League Cross Country Athlete of the Week (10/24) after placing 11th at the Kent State Short Course Classic...posted a 5K personal-best time of 19:47 at the Falcon Invitational (10/15)...garnered a 10th-place finish in her first collegiate race at the Mel Brodt Invitational (9/10).

2005 -- Sophomore Season:

Started in 28 of the 29 games she played in, batting .167 (6-for-36)... finished the season with a .939 fielding percentage, tying her for fifth on the team.

2004 - Freshman Season:

Started 17 of the 19 games she played in, hitting .250 (4-for-16) with a double and two RBI...went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI against St. Francis (4/21).

High School:

First team All-Federal League during her senior year...regional and state qualifier...named most improved runner during junior and senior seasons...ran a 19:46 during her senior season.

Earned all-league honors all four years and all-district in 2002 and 2003...team captain and MVP as a senior...recorded a .475 batting average and .563 slugging percentage as a senior...committed only two errors in 29 games as a second baseman...four-year letterwinner in softball...team finished with a 22-8 record in 2003, advancing to the state semi-final game...also lettered two seasons in cross country, advancing to state championship...member of National Honor Society.
