Cleveland State Cross Country Set For NCAA Regionals

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State cross country team will close out the 2023 campaign this weekend, participating in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional.

This year's regional 6K race is slated for a 12:30 p.m. EST start on Friday, November 10, and will be hosted by Wisconsin at the Zimmer Championship Course.

Fans can follow along with LIVE RESULTS of Friday's race.

Through five races during the 2023 season, the Vikings have recorded 18 career-best 5K or 6K times, including six personal-best 6K times at the Horizon League Championship last time out. Three of those times also made the top-50 list for 6K times since 2005, with Sage Colon (23:27), Brooke Bechtel (23:32) and Madelynn Madison (23:34) all making the list.

2023 RACE-BY-RACE RESULTS

Cleveland State's lineup for Friday will feature four freshmen, as a member of the rookie class has been CSU's top finisher in all five races so far this year. Mia Beemsterboer has been the top Viking finisher three times, while Natalie Keller and Sage Colòn have each paced CSU once.
