CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State cross country team is set for action once again this week, as the Vikings will compete in the Falcon Invitational on Friday, October 13. The women's 6K race is slated for a 5:15 p.m. start at the Bowling Green Cross Country Course.
Friday's race will mark the fourth of six events for the Vikings this season, and the second 6K of the year.
Cleveland State will be one of 12 teams represented at the Falcon Invite, including Horizon League opponent Wright State.
The last time the Vikings ran a 6K (All-Ohio Championships), Mia Beemsterboer paced Cleveland State with a time of 23:30, while Ariana Coats posted a personal-best 6K time of 24:24.
Friday's race marks the final tune-up for the Vikings before the 2023 Horizon League Championships, which will take place on Saturday, October 28 in Fairborn, Ohio.
