Cleveland State Cross Country Returns To Action At Falcon Invite

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Following two weeks off from competition, the Cleveland State cross country team will return to action this weekend, competing at the Falcon Invite on Friday, October 14. Friday's women's 6K is slated for a 4:30 p.m. start at the Bowling Green Cross Country Course.

Friday's race will mark the fifth event of the 2022 campaign for the Vikings, and the final tune-up before the #HLXC Championships later this month.

Last time out, Cleveland State participated in the Notre Dame Invite, paced by Kiannah Sarver (19:51) and Hannah Korte (19:55) who both notched sub 20-minute 5K times.

Through four races this season, Korte has been Cleveland State's top finisher three times, while Sarver was the first Viking to cross the finish line last time out. Ariana Coats has been in Cleveland State's top-three finishers during all four races this year, including a trio of second place performances.
