Greulich Named Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, OH - Beth Greulich was named the Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week after helping the Vikings to a weekend split in Wisconsin. It is the second time in her career that Greulich has earned the honor.

She is also the third different CSU player to earn one of the league's weekly honors this year, joining two-time honoree Jenni Ramminger and Jordan Bateman.

In Friday's 3-2 loss at Milwaukee, Greulich finished with 15 kills and hit .289. before following that performance with a career-high 21 kills in a 3-1 win at Green Bay.

For the week, Greulich posted a hitting percentage of .400 with 36 kills and just six errors in nine games. On the defensive end, she chipped in with 11 total blocks.

CSU (17-6, 10-2 HL) will return to action for two road matches this weekend. The Vikings will play at Loyola on Friday (Oct. 26) at 8:00 pm EDT and UIC on Saturday (Oct. 27) at 5:00 pm EDT.
