Frease also added five blocks, including two block solos, while Barhorst tallied three.

The Vikings opened the match with a commanding 25-15 first set victory, as the Vikings got out to a 13-8 lead and never let up. After extending their lead to 18-10, CSU was able to close the match with two straight points off of kills from Koch and Frease.

The second set was much of the same, as the Vikings got out to a 12-point lead at 19-7 after eight straight points. During that span CSU got three kills each from Koch and Frease and a Barhorst service ace. The Vikings controlled the set from this point on, and closed the frame with a Barhorst kill.
