Senior Michelle Iafigliola (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) slammed down 23 kills to go along with 10 digs against Robert Morris Tuesday night as Cleveland State outlasted the host Colonials 30-19, 24-30, 31-29, 14-30, 15-13 at the Sewall Center in non-league action.
CSU improved to 14-8 overall while RMU dropped to 16-11.
Viking sophomore Jamie Bouyer (Bedford Heights, Ohio/Chanel) tagged 14 kills while hitting .324 and freshman Alisa Hatcher contributed with 10 kills and a team-high 16 digs. In addition, setter Kelly Crain (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg) and middle hitter Kristine Dabbelt (Batavia, Ohio/Batavia) each recorded career highs with 15 digs and four block solos, respectively.
Karla Barhorst led the Colonials with 13 digs while Darcy Thompson took game honors with 21 digs.
