A powerful outside hitter, Julie Stover is one of the favorites to earn a starting nod. She had a great spring and brings a physical presence to the outside.

2004 - Junior Season

Tied for second on the team with 31 aces...stepped up in the league championship, hitting .271 with 2.38 kills, 2.62 digs and 0.85 blocks...posted 11 kills and 12 digs in championship match against Loyola (11/21)...registered a double double with 13 kills and 12 digs in semifinal win over UW-Milwaukee (11/20)...tallied 13 kills and nine digs at Robert Morris (11/2)...notched 10 kills and a career-high six aces at UIC (9/25)...totaled 126 digs and 35 blocks...played in 26 matches, starting 17 times at outside hitter.

2003 - Sophomore Season

Tallied a career-high 14 kills on three occasions -- at Butler (10/10), vs. Indiana State (9/6) and vs. Boston College (8/29)...matched her career-best with 11 digs at Youngstown State (11/14) in first action at libero...had five double-digit kill matches, and four contests with 10 or more digs...played in 27 matches, starting 11 times at outside hitter.

2002 - Freshman Season

Saw action in 24 matches her rookie season...recorded 1.28 kpg and 0.58 dpg...tallied a season-best eight kills and four digs at Loyola (11/8)...posted six kills in first collegiate action versus Marquette (8/30).

High School

Lettered three years as an outside hitter for the Rangers...named second-team all-Ohio as a senior when she led her squad to a 20-5 overall mark and a 10-0 slate in the Toledo Area Athletic Conference...player of the year in the TAAC...recorded 360 kills, 191 digs and 34 service aces in her final campaign when she was team captain...three-time District VII player of the year...named all-TAAC in 2000 and 2001...tabbed all-Suburban Laker League in 1999...all-Wood County from 1999-01...Northwood's career kill leader with 1,018...also lettered three years in softball.
