Seanna Steinle is one of the most versatile athletes on the squad. She has played both middle and outside during her career, but may be counted on to provide more of a defensive presence as a libero/defensive specialist this season.

2006 - Junior Season

Appeared in 19 matches, notching seven kills, 39 digs and four service aces... tallied four kills in season opener against Iona (8/25)... dished out career-best three assists against UW-Milwaukee (10/20)... recorded season-best 11 digs vs. UW-Green Bay (10/21).

2005 - Sophomore Season

Played in 25 matches, posting 12 kills, 19 digs and 12 blocks... saw some time at outside... also subbed in for blocking purposes... recorded three kills, an ace and a pair of digs against Oakland (10/11)... notched a career-high three blocks in lone start of the year against Toledo (8/26).

2004 - Freshman Season

Was fifth on the team with 132 digs... posted 20 digs at UW-Milwaukee (11/13)... had five kills, 12 digs, two aces and a pair of blocks at Butler (10/30)... notched five kills and 15 digs versus Loyola (10/23)... hit .089 with 21 blocks and 11 aces... played in 25 matches, starting four times at outside.

High School

Two-time first team all-district selection at Ross High School for coach Steve Barr... participated in 2003 district all-star game... team MVP... holds school record for kills in a match with 27... led team to league title and district runner-up finish as a sophomore... three-year letterwinner... played for Toledo Volleyball Club.

Personal

Born Dec. 12, 1985 in Fremont, Ohio... daughter of Steve and Tammy Steinle... has an older sister, Sara, and a younger brother, Albert... graphic design major... earned CSU's Athletic Academic Excellence Award in 2007.
