Cleveland State Volleyball Falls To RMU

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland State volleyball team returned home to continue Horizon League play Friday evening, dropping a 3-1 contest against RMU.

Liberty Torres had a team-best 24 kills on a .389 hitting percentage (24-3-54), while Nia Hall added 14 kills and Laken Voss chipped in 10.

Karly Klaer finished with 50 assists along with 13 digs for another double-double on the season.

Cleveland State's defense was led by Emma Walker with 27 digs, while Reilly Waddedn added 14, and Voss chipped in 11.

Once again the Vikings posted double-digit blocks, finishing with 10.0 team blocks on the night. JeriLynn Koehler tallied a team-best five blocks, while Torres added four and Klaer and Ainslie McLaughlin both added three.

Cleveland State will return to action tomorrow, hosting Youngstown State at 4:00 p.m.
