CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State volleyball team wrapped up the 2019 season Saturday, picking up a thrilling five-set victory over IUPUI on Senior Day.
CSU Career Digs List
Following her 22-dig performance against IUPUI in the season finale, Emily DeGeorge moved into 10th place in the CSU Career Record Book with 1,121 career digs. Earlier this season, DeGeorge became the 20th Viking all-time to eclipse the 1,000-dig mark.
CSU Career Block Assists List
With her four block assists against IUPUI today, Hannah Greene moved into a tie for 10th place in the CSU Career Record Book with 275 total block assists on her career. Greene led the team with 89 block assists on the weekend, and is the third active Viking to earn a spot in the CSU Career Record Book.

The Cleveland State offense was led by Emily DeGeorge who finished with a career-high tying 23 kills on a .373 hitting percentage (23-4-51), while Trinniti Hall added 14 kills.
Christina Grecol finished the match with 48 assists, ending the season with 2,100 career assists.
Defensively, five Vikings finished with double-digit digs, led by Hall who posted a career-high 28 digs against IUPUI. DeGeorge also had 20+ digs on the match, finishing with 22, while Jordan Verbiak tallied 19 as Cleveland State's libero, Audrey McConihe added 16 and Christina Grecol posted 10 digs.
The trio of DeGeorge, Hall and Grecol all finished the match with double-doubles, including Grecol's team-leading 12th of the season.
As a team, the Vikings combined for 10 total blocks, marking the 14th time that they have posted double-digit blocks as a team. Hannah Greene recorded a team-high six total blocks, while Chelsea Penfield added three.
