Volleyball Notches 20th Win With 3-0 Sweep Over Northern Kentucky

CLEVELAND, Ohio – For the seventh time under head coach Chuck Voss the Cleveland State volleyball team has eclipsed the 20-win mark, as the Vikings picked up their 11th straight win with a 3-0 sweep over Northern Kentucky. Cleveland State now stands at 20-4 overall this season, and 11-1 in Horizon League action.

Match Stats
· Grace Kauth led the Viking offense with 10 kills, while Alexis Middlebrooks added nine kills and Sydney Mast posted eight kills.
· Gina Kilner recorded 35 assists on 40 kills for the Vikings.
· Shannon Grega led the Viking defense with 18 digs, while Gina Kilner added eight and Grace Kauth record seven.
· Alexis Middlebrooks tallied six block assists against NKU, while Sydney Mast added five.

· Saturday's 3-0 victory gave Cleveland State the season sweep of Northern Kentucky, as the Vikings picked up a 3-2 win against the Norse earlier this year.
· Cleveland State's victory against NKU extended its current winstreak to 11 straight matches, as the Vikings have now posted 11 consecutive wins three times under head coach Chuck Voss.
· Saturday's victory also kept the Vikings perfect during the month of October, as Cleveland State finished the month with a perfect 9-0 record. This marked the fifth time under head coach Chuck Voss that the Vikings have finished a month with a perfect record.
· The 3-0 sweep over the Norse marked the eighth sweep of the season for Cleveland State.
· Cleveland State recorded its seventh 20-win season under head coach Chuck Voss Saturday, and marked back-to-back 20-win seasons for the fifth time during his tenure.
· After a 35-assist match against the Norse, Gina Kilner eclipsed the 2,900-assist mark for her career, ending the match with 2,925 helpers.
