QUICK SETS
The Cleveland State volleyball team will begin its final stretch of the 2014 regular season this weekend, opening a three-match roadswing at Green Bay (Friday, November 7) and Milwaukee (Saturday, November 8). Entering the weekend, CSU stands at 11-13 overall and 4-7 in Horizon League play.

THE MATCH-UP // GREEN BAY
Since starting league play, Green Bay has been struggling picking up just two wins out of its last six contests entering Friday's match up. Green Bay's lone Horizon League victory on the season came as a 3-1 decision against Oakland earlier this season.

THE MATCH-UP // MILWAUKEE
Milwaukee enters the weekend tied for the top spot in the Horizon League standings, owning an 8-2 mark in league play. The Panthers have won five of their last seven contests, including three straight against league opponents entering Friday's matchup against Youngstown State.

EARLIER THIS SEASON…
The Vikings split their contests against Green Bay and Milwaukee earlier this season, picking up a 3-0 victory against the Phoenix and falling by a matching 3-0 score to the Panthers. Maggie Hannon led the Vikings against Green Bay and Milwaukee, combining for a .528 hitting percentage (21-2-36), including 13 kills against the Phoenix.

KAUTH NOTCHES CAREER-BEST AGAINST UIC
Sophomore Grace Kauth - who just tied her career-high with 17 kills against Oakland two weeks ago - posted a new career-best against UIC last time out, recording 20 kills against the Flames. Kauth's 20-kill performance marked the first of the season for the Vikings, while it was the ninth time that she has led the Viking offense this season. Kauth is now averaging 2.64 kills per set this season - ranking 10th among league players.

…REACHES 225 KILLS & 250 DIGS ON THE SEASON
Entering this weekend's contests against Green Bay and Milwaukee, Kauth has posted 227 kills and 251 digs on the season, the only Viking to own these numbers and the fifth Horizon League player to achieve the feat. For her career, Kauth has 532 kills and 522 digs - the only current Viking with at least 500 kills and 500 digs.

HANNON ON THE OFFENSIVE ATTACK
Senior Maggie Hannon, who leads the team averaging 2.69 kills per set, recorded her 12th double-digit kill match of the season last time out, recording 14 against UIC. Hannon has been CSU's top offensive threat during 10 matches this season, and has a team-high .286 hitting percentage on the year. So far, Hannon has notched 711 kills on her career - a mark that leads all current Vikings.

VIKINGS ON THE BLOCK
For the eighth time this season the Vikings posted double-digit team blocks, recording 11 total team blocks against UIC last time out. Cleveland State has combined for 202 total team blocks this season, averaging 2.35 blocks per set - a mark that is just shy of the single-season top-10 list at CSU. The Vikings notched a season-high 14 team blocks against Toledo earlier this season, while Maggie Hannon recorded an indivudal season-high 10 blocks against UIC in the first half of league play.

HOLMES NOTCHES 300TH DIG
After posting 15 digs last weekend, junior Nikki Holmes enters the final stretch of the regular season with 300 digs on the season. This is the second straight season that Holmes has notched 300 or more digs - entering Friday's contest with 907 digs on her career. Holmes is averaging a team-best 4.41 digs per set, while she ranks fifth among league players. For the season, Holmes has notched five 20-dig matches, including a season-high 25 digs against Oakland (9/27).

ROBERTS DOUBLE-DOUBLES THIS SEASON
Dayna Roberts recorded her ninth double-double of the season against Valparaiso last weekend, posting 11 assists and 10 digs against the Crusaders. Roberts, who leads the team with her nine double-doubles this season, has recorded 22 on her career. For the season, Roberts is averaging 5.06 assists per set and 2.25 digs per set.

HANNON CLOSING IN ON CAREER RECORD BOOK
Entering the weekend senior Maggie Hannon is just shy of cracking the top-10 on the CSU career block assists list, entering Friday's contest with 241 block assists on her career. Hannon, who is six block assists shy of tying for 10th on the list, has recorded 79 total blocks so far this season, averaging 0.92 blocks per set. Hannon already has her name in the CSU career record book once, currently ranking sixth with a .301 hitting percentage.

CSU AMONG THE NATIONAL LEADERS
Entering the weekend Cleveland State continues to rank in the top-75 nationally in digs per set (41st - 16.48) and blocks per set (72nd - 2.35) - while ranking second in the Horizon League in both categories. CSU is one of just two league teams to average over 16.00 digs per set this season and is also one of two league teams to average over 2.25 blocks per set on the year.

ROBERTS ON CAREER ASSIST LIST
Dayna Roberts continues to add to her career assist total, as she combined for 38 assists last weekend, entering Friday's contest with 1,810 career assists. Roberts currently ranks seventh on the CSU all-time career assist list, and is on her way to becoming just the seventh Viking to record 2,000 assists all-time.
