QUICK SETS
The Cleveland State volleyball team will begin the second half of Horizon League play this weekend, traveling to Oakland and Wright State. Entering the week the Vikings stand at 10-10 overall and 3-4 in league contests. CSU will take on Oakland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24 and will then take on Wright State at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25.

THE MATCH-UP // OAKLAND
Oakland enters the weekend with a 13-9 overall record and a 5-2 mark in league play - tied for first place in the league standings. The Golden Grizzlies have won three of their last five matches, and own a 4-3 mark when playing at home.

THE MATCH-UP // WRIGHT STATE
Wright State enters the weekend with a 4-17 overall record and a 1-6 mark in league play - picking up their first win of the season last time out. The Raiders' victory over Green Bay last weekend snapped a nine-match losing skid.

EARLIER THIS SEASON…
During the first half of Horizon League play, Cleveland State split their contests against Oakland and Wright State - falling to the Golden Grizzlies (3-2) and defeating Wright State (3-0). Christina Toth recorded a team-high nine kills against the Raiders, while Maggie Hannon posted 15 kills against Oakland. Nikki Holmes led CSU's defensive efforts against both teams, combining for 44 digs.

BECK RECORDS DOUBLE-DOUBLE AGAINST YSU
Senior Ally Beck recorded her third double-double of the season last time out, recording 10 kills and 17 digs against Youngstown State. The 17 digs marked a match-high, while the 10 kills marked the third time this season that Beck has posted double-digit kills. Beck is one of four Vikings with a double-double this season.

…REACHES 100 KILLS & 200 DIGS ON THE SEASON
Ally Beck's 10 kills against YSU gave her 100 for the season, making her the fourth Viking with 100 kills on the year. Beck also reached a milestone in digs against the Penguins, recording 200 on the season with her 17-dig performance. She is the third Viking with at least 200 digs on the season, and the second with both 100 kills and 200 digs (Grace Kauth - 179 kills, 217 digs).

KILNER BETTERS ASSIST MARK
Freshman Gina Kilner once again served as CSU's primary setter against Youngstown State last weekend, recording a career-high 49 assists against the Penguins. Kilner, who ranks eighth in the Horizon League averaging 5.31 assists per set, helped the Vikings to 54 kills against YSU - including a match-high 15 from Grace Kauth.

HANNON CLOSING IN ON CAREER RECORD BOOK
Entering the weekend senior Maggie Hannon is just shy of cracking the top-10 on the CSU career block assists list, entering Friday's contest with 231 block assists on her career. Hannon, who is 16 block assists shy of tying for 10th on the list, has recorded 67 blocks so far this season, averaging 0.96 blocks per set. Hannon already has her name in the CSU career record book once, currently ranking sixth with a .301 hitting percentage.
