Volleyball Falls To Milwaukee, 3-0

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State volleyball team returned home to continue Horizon League play Friday evening, falling to league-leading Milwaukee, 3-0. The Vikings now stand at 9-9 overall this season and 2-3 in league play.

Set scores against Milwaukee were 25-15, 25-22, 25-17.

Maggie Hannon posted a team-high eight kills against the Panthers on a .533 hitting percentage (8-0-15), while Grace Kauth tallied seven kills and Sydney Mast added six. Kauth also added a team-high 10 digs, with Ally Beck notching eight and Nikki Holmes recording seven. Gina Kilner and Dayna Roberts each posted 14 assists on the match, while Alexis Middlebrooks and Aaliyah Slappy each posted a pair of blocks.

Cleveland State will continue its homestand tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 11) afternoon, hosting Green Bay at 4:00 p.m. in Woodling Gymnasium.
