Track & Field Set For #HLTF Indoor Championships

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track and field team will close out its indoor season at the 2020 Horizon League Indoor Championships this weekend, participating in the two-day event on Saturday, February 29 and Sunday, March 1 at Youngstown State.

#HLTF CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL

On Saturday, the Pentathlon will begin at 9:00 a.m., while field events will start at 12:00 p.m. and running events are slated to begin at 2:30 p.m. On Sunday, field events are slated to begin at 9:15 a.m. and running events will start at 1:00 p.m.

Fans that aren't able to attend the championship will still be able to follow the Vikings, with live results available for both days, and live video available beginning at 3:20 p.m. on Saturday and 12:55 p.m. on Sunday.

Entering this weekend's championship, two Vikings have posted marks that rank among the top-five in the Horizon League so far this season, as Anna Brandt ranks second in the Mile and fourth in the 800 Meter Run and Monica Johnson ranks second in the 60 Meter Hurdles. Cleveland State's 4x400 relay team of Mijah Collier, Brandt, Dyamond Myers, and Dynesty Ervin also ranks fourth.

HORIZON LEAGUE TOP TIMES

After eight indoor meets so far this season, the Vikings have set seven individual records heading into this weekend's #HLTF championship, including four marks set by newcomers.
