Track & Field Set For 2019 #HLTF Outdoor Championship

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Following a five-meet outdoor season, the Cleveland State track and field team is set for the 2019 Horizon League Outdoor Championship, which will take place Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 5 in Youngstown, Ohio.

Complete Schedule |Field events will begin at: Friday (12:00 pm), Saturday (9:00 am), Sunday (10:00 am); Track events will begin at: Friday (7:20 pm), Saturday (4:00 pm), Sunday (11:00 am).

Follow The Vikings | Fans that aren't able to attend the championship will still be able to follow the Vikings, with live results available for all three days, and live video available beginning at the following times: Friday (7:15 pm), Saturday (3:55 pm), Sunday (10:55 am).

Last Year At The #HLTF Outdoor Championship | Cleveland State recorded eight podium finishes at last year's outdoor championship, finishing seventh as a team. Hannah Gaskins recorded Cleveland State's best finish, placing second in the Heptathlon en route to being named the Co-Freshman Field Athlete of the Year.

CSU Record Book | Entering the Horizon League Championship, the Vikings have set seven individual records and one relay record so far this season, while they have also recorded 29 additional top-five marks.

#HLTF Top Marks | So far this season, the Vikings have recorded five top-five marks among Horizon League teams, including individual marks from Tylar Mixon (200-5th), Monica Johnson (100H-5th) and Julianne Dorothal (Javelin-4th).
