Track & Field Set For #HLTF Indoor Championship

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track and field team is set for the 2019 Horizon League Indoor Championship, which will take place Saturday, February 23 and Sunday, February 24 and will be hosted by Youngstown State.

Complete Schedule | Field events will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, while running events are set to start at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. The pentathlon will take place Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Follow The Vikings | Fans that aren't able to attend the championship will still be able to follow the Vikings, with live results available for both days, and live video available beginning at 3:20 p.m. on Saturday and 12:55 p.m. on Sunday.

Last Year At The #HLTF Indoor Championship | Cleveland State recorded four podium finishes at last year's indoor championship, including Anna Brandt (800 Meter Run), Hannah Gaskins (Pentathlon) and Julianne Dorothal (Pentathlon).

CSU Record Book | After eight meets throughout the indoor season, the Vikings have set 12 individual records heading into this weekend's #HLTF championship, including four from Anna Brandt (500, 800, Mile, 3000) and two from Tylar Mixon (60, 200). Along with 12 records, the Vikings have also set 29 additional top-five times during the 2018-19 indoor season.

Horizon League Times | Entering the #HLTF Championship, four Vikings have posted marks that rank among the top-five in the Horizon League so far this season, including Tylar Mixon and Anna Brandt who own two top-five times. Brandt ranks third in the 800 Meter Run and Mile Run, while Mixon ranks fifth in the 60 Meter Dash and 200 Meter Dash, with Monica Johnson (60 Meter Hurdles) and Julianne Dorothal (Pentathlon) ranking third and fifth, respectively.
