CHARLESTON, W. Va. - The Cleveland State women's tennis team closed out its first fall tournament of the 2023-24 campaign Sunday, wrapping up action at Thunder in the Mountains.

Sima Heren picked up Cleveland State's lone singles win on the day, earning a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Marshall's Rieke Gillar. With the win, Heren finished the first weekend with a 2-1 singles record.

Cleveland State will return to action in late October, hosting the annual Viking Invitational October 20-22.
