INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League announced the 2023 Women's Tennis All-Academic Team Thursday afternoon, with Cleveland State junior Bethany Yauch earning a spot on the six-member team. 

This marks the first All-Academic honor for Yauch during her collegiate career. 

Yauch, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is currently pursuing a degree in finance and is an annual member of the Cleveland State Dean's List. In addition, Yauch is an active member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, serving as the Social Events Co-Chair while also serving as one of two Horizon League SAAC Representatives.

On the court, Yauch has spent the entire season playing in the top half of the singles lineup, owning a 19-13 overall record, including a 12-8 mark this spring. Earlier this season, Yauch eclipsed the 50-win mark for her career, and is just one win shy of notching her second 20-win campaign.  

Yauch has also been part of Cleveland State's top doubles team, owning an 11-6 record at No. 1 doubles with Sima Heren during dual match play.
