MCC Announces 2000-01 Winter Academic All-Conference Teams

CLEVELAND - The Midwestern Collegiate Conference announced its winter Academic All-Conference teams today, honoring 77 student-athletes for their work during the 2000-01 academic year. Among those recognized were 10 members of the Cleveland State men's and women's swimming and diving squads.

The MCC Academic All-Conference teams honor student-athletes who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or above with at least three complete semesters at the same institution and who participate in an MCC-sponsored sport as a starter or an important reserve. The teams are comprised of the same number of first-team all-MCC student-athletes in each sport. Selections are made by MCC faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.
