Cleveland - The Cleveland State women's swimming and diving team moved up to fifth place after the second day of the Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championships. The Vikings hold a 22-point advantage over Butler going into the final day tomorrow at the Robert F. Busbey Natatorium.
Sophomore Samantha Jones proved to be a bright spot for CSU, taking second in the 100 back (57.56) and third in the 100 fly (57.77). The 800 free relay team also performed well, picking up a third place time of 7:47.64 to close out the night.
The third and final day of the Horizon League Championships begins tomorrow morning with time trials at 10:30 a.m. and the finals at 6:00 p.m. Up to the minute scores and results can be found by clicking on the Horizon League Championships logo on the swimming web page.
