2006-07- Sophomore Season

Emerged as one of the most versatile swimmers for the team, competing in the backstroke, butterfly, sprint freestyle and individual medley events...recorded team's top times in the 100 backstroke (59.76), 200 backstroke (2:12.40), 100 butterfly (1:00.51) and 200 individual medley (2:15.16)...posted personal best times in the 200 individual medley (2:15.16) and the 100 butterfly (1:00.51) at the Horizon League Championships...strong contributor to the squad's 200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay, 200 medley relay and the 400 medley relay.

2005-06 - Freshman Season

One of the team's best backstroke swimmers, while also adding depth to the freestyle sprint corps...the only Viking to clock a sub-one minute time in the 100 back (59.40)...posted team's second-best time in the 200 back (2:09.96) on 10/22...was third on the team in the 50 free (24.71)...swam the lead legs in the 200 and 400 medley relays at the Horizon League Championships...was a member of the 200 free relay team at the league championships.

High School

An experienced backstroke swimmer, she was a finalist in the event at the Canadian Junior Nationals...fashioned together four top 10 finishes in multiple events at the junior nationals from 2001-05...named as the Central Region Female High-Point Winner in 2005...ranked among the top five in Canada and top 10 in the world in her age group for the 100 and 200 backstroke from 2001-05.

Born May 4, 1987 in Newmarket, Ont....daughter of Robert MacLauchlan and Elizabeth Shearer...has two brothers, Todd and Robert...anthropology major.
