Women's Swimming and Diving Falls in Close Decision at Youngstown State

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Cleveland State women's swimming and diving team fell on the road on Friday night in a Horizon League dual meet against Youngstown State, 127-116.

Despite the close loss, the Vikings had several swimmers place atop their individual events including Molly McNamara who picked up where she left off last week, winning the 200 IM (2:10.99) and the 200 Fly (2:05.58) while also holding a leg in the winning 400 Medley Relay team along with Cassandra Oltman, Tobie Zeller and Claudia Zito (4:00.24).

Oltman and Jodi Turk were a one-two punch in the 200 Back, finishing with times of 2:11.67 and 2:15.35 respectively while Zito was also a winner in the 500 Free (5:13.97).

The Vikings will barely have time to catch their breath before their next meet, hosting Gannon tomorrow (Oct. 24) at 1:00 p.m. at Busbey Natatorium for their home-opener.
