Men Finish Sixth, Women Finish Seventh in HL Championship

Brown Deer, WI - The Cleveland State men and women's swimming and diving team competed in the final day of the Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championship hosted by Milwaukee at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center. The men tallied 456 points while finishing in sixth place. The women finished seventh while scoring 243.5 points through the final day.

In the finals for the men, Danny Roberts finished second place in the 1-meter diving event with an impressive score of 323.85. Gage Alleman finished his weekend with a sixth place finish in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:01.23. The men finalized the Horizon League Championship weekend with a third place finish in the 400 freestyle with a time of 3:00.27.

For the women, Jodi Turk had another great day as she placed fifth in the 1650 freestyle finals with a time of 17:11.44. Madisen Tretter finished off her weekend with a third place finish in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:15.84 which is good enough for a Division I qualifying time.

The Viking men and women finalized their season with the Horizon League Championships. More information on the Last Chance Meet held on March 7th will be annouced.
