Swimming and Diving Falls at Wright State

DAYTON, OH – The Cleveland State men and women's swimming and diving team swam against Wright State on Saturday afternoon.

Despite their effort, the Viking men and women both fell to Wright State. The men lost 205-95 , while the women fell 179-115.
For the men, Philipp Sikatzki won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 49.21. Danny Roberts won the 1-meter diving in dominating fashion with a total score of 317.02. Roberts also won the 3-meter diving with another impressive score of 324.59.

The Viking women put in great effort as Jodi Turk won the 1,000-yard free with a final time of 10:54.77. Bethany Robertson finished just behind with a time of 11:09.57. Robertson went on to win the 500-yard free with a time of 5:22.11. 

Despite the men's 205-95 loss and women's 179-115 loss, the Vikings swam well in the pool. The Vikings will be back in action Saturday (Jan. 31) at home with events beginning at 1:00 p.m. CSU will host Oakland and Xavier.
