Vikings Host Splash Bash Event

CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland State swimming and diving teams finalized Homecoming weekend with the 5th annual Cleveland State Splash Bash on Saturday in Busbey Natatorium.

The Splash Bash is an annual meet between Alumni, US Masters, and CSU swim team. All of the proceeds from this meet are donated to the program.

The events ranged from relays of a combination of men and women to individual events of separate clubs.

Philipp Sikatzki had a solid day as he won the 200-meter IM, 100-meter backstroke, and 100-meter butterfly events. On the women's side, Jamie VanDewerker also showed what she can do this season by winning the 100-meter freestyle and the 100-meter backstroke.

Jodi Turk also won two events of her own and helped win the mixed 200-meter freestyle relay.

There were also food, drinks, and raffle prizes available for anyone attending.
