CLEVELAND, Ohio- Freshman diver Samantha Sposet was honored this week as the Horizon League Women's Diver of the week for her performance against the St. Bonaventure Bonnies this past weekend.

Sposet, the freshman from Westlake, Ohio, scored her top 1-meter diving score of the year on Saturday at 250.04, to place her first by over 24 points. She was also able to place first in the 3-meter dive against Bonaventure with a score of 243.30.

"As a freshman Sammie's done a good job coming in and working very hard and it's nice to see some of that hard work pay off," said Diving Head Coach Rich Karban. "She's improving her diving skills and I think she's going to be a very good competitor for us over the years."

Sposet and the Vikings will be back in the pool tomorrow as they will be home hosting the Magnus Cup Invitational this Friday through Sunday. Each daily session will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Robert F. Busbey Natatorium.
