CSU Softball Announces Fall Schedule

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State head softball coach Angie Nicholson recently announced the 2007 Viking fall schedule.

The fall season will kick off on Sept. 15 with an intersquad scrimmage at 2:00 pm at Viking Field.

On Sept. 23, Nicholson and the Vikings will host an Alumni Game at 11:00 am at Viking Field. The one hour game will feature the current Viking softball team against a group of CSU softball alums. At 12:00 pm, a lunch buffet will be provided by Rascal House Pizza. The event is free. Please RSVP by Sept. 19 by calling 216-687-5454.

In case of inclement weather, lunch will be held in the Wolstein Center Family Room on the first floor.

The Vikings will conclude their fall season at the Kent State Invitational on Sept. 29-30. CSU will play Ashland (10:00 am), Ohio State (12:00 pm) and Eastern Michigan (4:00 pm) on Sept. 29 before taking on Robert Morris (1:00 pm) and Kent State (3:00 pm) on the 30th.
