CLEVELAND - To death and taxes, add Mother Nature ruining another Cleveland State softball game to the list of certainties in life. Thanks to thunderstorms in the Toledo area, the Vikings' doubleheader scheduled for Thursday at 4:00 p.m. against the Rockets has been canceled. The games will not be made up.

Since finishing tournament play at the end of March, CSU (19-12, 2-6 HL) has had 13 of its 29 games canceled due to various forms of weather, including rain, snow, and freezing temperatures. On the year, the Vikings have now had to postpone or cancel 20 contests. On the bright side, the forecast for Chicago this weekend is 70 degrees and sunny for both days of CSU's scheduled three-game set at UIC.
