So Senior Day is right around the corner and I can honestly say I am not looking forward to it! There are six seniors on this year's team and that is almost 1/3 of my team.

Although this is only my third year as the Head Coach here at Cleveland State I feel like I have known these girls forever but at the same time I think to myself where has time gone, how can these girls be playing their last game on Viking Field??

I really can say I have a very unique bunch of girls and I mean there is no way there is another team out there like ours. If I even began to tell you stories from this past year you would think we were all crazy and weird but that's what makes us special! The thing is I know we are different and I love it!

I don't know what the future holds for us this year as the season comes down to crunch time, but I do know that I don't want this year to end anytime soon. I love walking into practice and just seeing and hearing each and every one of these girls.

It will be tough this weekend to see these girls walk across the field with their parents and I know it will be very emotional. The good thing is I will be able to hand out six well deserved hugs, the bad news is I know I will be losing six amazing people in the next month or so!!

I guess as a coach you just hope that they enjoyed their time here at Cleveland State and that they can walk away with great stories, friendships and memories that will last them a lifetime. I know I will cherish the moments we had together!!
