CSU's Tiffany Stocker Ranked Among NCAA Softball Leaders

Cleveland State University softball player Tiffany Stocker (Sherrodsville, OH/Conotton Valley) is tied for second nationally among stolen base leaders in statistics released by the NCAA on April 11, 2001.

The junior centerfielder has swiped 20 bases in 24 games this season for a 0.83/game average and shares the second spot with Stetson's Tiffany Tolleson who has recorded 30 thefts in 36 games. On the year, Stocker has been thrown out just four times.

Stocker holds both the Viking's career and single season stolen base titles with 78 and 34 (taken last season), respectively.

Cleveland State, 9-15 overall and 0-4 in the Midwestern Collegiate Conference, will host the University of Detroit Mercy on Saturday, April 14 at 1 p.m. at Viking Field.
